Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the size and placement of the poster?

We will provide an A1-sized poster, which will be displayed on an A1 stand outside our lift lobby on Level 1. The poster is designed to guide your guests to the event space on Level 7 for easy navigation.

A1 refers to 59.4 cm (width) x 84.1 cm (height).

Can I request customisations for your templates?

Yes, customisations are available for many of our templates! Each template lists its customisation options at the bottom of its box above, clearly marked as follows:

  • Editable Text: Indicates if text changes are allowed.
  • Logo Addition: Indicates the template has a spot for your corporate logo in place of the wording. A logo can also be added to other templates, just let us know where you would like it.
  • Colour Theme Adjustment: Indicates if the colour scheme can be customised. These templates have a Try a different colour button so you can preview your colours before sending them to us.
How do I choose and send you the colours I want?

Open a template marked Colour Theme Adjustment and tap Try a different colour. You can change each colour in the design, the colour of the wording and the colour of The Outset logo and L7 sign at the bottom. Pick from the quick colours or type in a hex colour code (e.g. #FF5733). Shades and highlights in the design follow your colour automatically.

When you're happy with it, tap Send on WhatsApp to send your colours to your Outset sales contact, or Copy text to paste them into an email. Please let us know which date and event the poster is for.

If you're not sure about the exact colour you want, simply describe it with as much detail as possible (e.g. "blue" could refer to shades like light blue, turquoise, navy, cobalt, teal, pastel blue, etc.) so we can ensure it matches your vision.

Note: The preview helps you choose. Colours on screen can look slightly different from the printed poster, but we will match the colours you send us as closely as possible in print.

Can I use the templates for a different type of event than stated above?

Yes, absolutely! Our templates are versatile and can be used for any type of event. For example, you can choose a birthday template and customise it for a corporate event or vice versa. There are no limitations, so feel free to select the design that best suits your needs.

What are the requirements for adding a corporate logo?

We recommend providing your logo as an AI, PDF or SVG file. These keep your logo sharp at any size. If these are unavailable, a high-resolution PNG with a transparent background works well, and a high-resolution JPG is also acceptable.

The poster is large, so a small logo file may print blurry. We will let you know if your file is too small.

If it suits the design better, we can also show your logo in a single colour to match the poster. Just let us know.

Note: If your company requires a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before sharing the file, we are happy to sign it before you send us the file.

Can you use my corporate font in the design?

Yes, for corporate events we can use your corporate font to keep the poster consistent with your brand identity. Please provide the font file in TTF or OTF format. If your font is hosted on a service like Adobe Fonts or Google Fonts, share the font link, and we'll access it via our account.

Note: If your company requires a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before sharing the file, we are happy to sign it before you send us the file.

Can I use my own design?

Absolutely! If you prefer to create your own design, please ensure the file meets the following requirements:

  • Size: A1 (594 mm x 841 mm)
  • Colour Mode: CMYK
  • File Type: PDF
  • File Size: Max. 300 MB
  • Print-Ready File: Include a print bleed (minimum 3 mm)
  • File Submission: Please email the file to us instead of sending it via WhatsApp, as WhatsApp reduces file quality.

We check every file before printing. If your file is not A1 or has no bleed, we will fit it to A1 for you, either filling the poster (the edges may be trimmed slightly) or fitting the whole design (with white space around it). We will send you a preview to approve before printing.

Note: We are unable to fix low-resolution images or edit the content of your file. A small or low-quality file may print blurry at A1 size.

I'm using Canva. How can I prepare my design for printing?

Canva works perfectly! Follow these steps to export your file as print-ready:

  1. Set Dimensions: Ensure your design is sized at A1 (594 mm x 841 mm).
  2. Export Settings:
    • Format: PDF Print.
    • Colour: CMYK (if available).
    • Include bleed: Tick the box for "Crop marks and bleed" in the export options.
  3. Save and Email: Save the exported file and email it to us.
Can I submit a ChatGPT or AI-generated design?

Designs generated using ChatGPT or other AI tools typically do not meet the required print specifications (such as correct size, CMYK colour mode, bleed and print-ready formatting). As such, they do not fulfil our production requirements unless they have been professionally adjusted to meet all the specifications listed above.

Please ensure any AI-generated artwork is properly formatted and exported as a fully print-ready A1 PDF before submission.

Important: If your file does not meet the required specifications, printing may be delayed. Any delays caused by non-compliant ChatGPT or AI-generated design files may result in you not having your poster ready in time for your event.
